THE WHAT:
Led the conceptualization, strategy, and execution of “Voices From The Block” as part of my clients’ office grand re-opening programming. ‘VFTB’ is recorded testimonials about the client specific Employer Value Proposition (EVP) via a enterprise wide focus group.
The testimonials were recorded in studio, working cross-functionally with their People (HR), Branding & Marketing, & Video Production team.
The focus group chose 2 questions to answer out of an available 5. Each representing a pilar of the EVP. 1. Compensation & Bonuses 2. Benefits 3. Career Learning & Development 4. Work Environment & 5. Company Culture.
Goals:
Increase employee engagement, use content in recruitment marketing strategies (such as social media, career site, email drip campaigns, etc.) and share with cross functional teams and key stakeholders to use in their own strategies.
Outcome:
We had ~20% of the company participate enterprise-wide including but not limited to: the CEO, early career sales representatives, leadership, and individual contributors in multiple departments.
Key Stakeholders: People Team, Video Production Team, and Branding & Marketing Team.
THE WHAT:
Led the conceptualization, strategy, and execution of my clients Requisition Video Ads. The job specific Requisition Video Ads described the duties and responsibilities at a high level in a short, fun, and engaging video utilizing their internal video editor tool. The ads were shared on social media channels and in drip campaigns to both active and passive candidates
Goal:
Knock out 2 birds with 1 stone. 1. Branding the company as the Employer of Choice through the content and 2. Showcase the SaaS product as an easy-to-use intuitive video editing tool for rapid content creation.
Outcome:
Improved capacity to attract passive candidates and close offers at a leadership level, and reduced time-to-fill by ~25%. Including end-to-end hiring of a lead product manager within 35 days.
Key Stakeholders: People Team, Content Team, Branding & Marketing Team, Hiring Manager(s).
THE WHAT:
Conceptualized and executed live demos of my clients product offerings to candidates. Working as the company’s Employer Brander and Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - I did phone screens as part of the interview process. The company offers a full library of stock media (photos, videos, & audio) and an easy-to-use video editing tool. Towards the end of the phone screen I would demo the services to candidates.
Goals:
To help candidates better understand what the client does in the niche stock media market, create brand empathy by customizing the live demo based upon our conversation (where they’re from, hobbies, etc.), show candidates the product they could be potentially working with, build excitement, and potential ownership/impact around it.
Outcome:
In instances where we couldn’t compete in salary with some of the larger tech companies, we would make up in Employer Branding campaigns. Showing candidates how the products works while making it personal and fun, and explaining that the work they do directly impacts it often time made my client the candidates top choice.
As a Brooklyn based DJ, host, and creative I’ve built numerous branding and marketing campaigns for myself and others. This includes managing and modeling photoshoots, styling, graphic design, and copywriting. On the marketing end I focus on competitive research, scheduled drip campaigns, reels, recaps, and an overall analysis on available metrics.
The graphics included were either shot, modeled, designed, and written by me.
For my DJ brand in particular, I utilize pop culture references from renowned films, TV shows, cartoons, anime, and video games as sound effects in my upbeat, feel good, open format DJ sets. I use that same brand identity when creating flyers, such as popular IP characters juxtaposed behind me.
